Hometown Heroes Making a Difference for Chartwell
We are always amazed by the incredible efforts of our supporters who go the extra mile to help us make a difference. These every day heroes are the driving force behind everything we do and we are proud to highlight some of their inspiring stories.
Paul’s Midsummer Madness 24 Hour Cycling Challenge

This June, Biggin Hill resident, Paul Clark, is gearing up for his most demanding endurance feat yet. Paul will take on Stock Hill, Biggin Hill’s steepest climb, cycling up and down a staggering 240 times in 24 hours – the equivalent of scaling Mount Everest!
Paul’s midsummer madness is in aid of a much-needed Cancer Information Centre at the Chartwell Unit in The Princess Royal University Hospital. This centre will provide vital support for cancer patients and their families when they need it most.
Local businesses and community members are rallying behind Paul’s inspiring challenge, Ben-efit Bike Fit Studio, Biggin Hill Social & Sports Club, Design Your Hype, Elliott Construction & Landscaping Ltd, Inwood Properties Ltd, Jtech Controls Ltd, Kelsey Park Lodge 5701, Luminate, S T Brown (Electrical) Ltd and The Framing Centre Tunbridge Wells.
If you would like to support Paul you can:
