Now a regular fixture in the performance calendar, Royal Greenwich Music Service annual concert has given thousands of young people from a whole mix of backgrounds and abilities the chance to perform.
This year’s show, held on Thursday 4 May at Blackheath Halls, had performances from seven primary school choirs, who performed individually and as a collective.
Mayor of Royal Greenwich, Cllr Leo Fletcher, attended the performance. He said: “The Music Service has given thousands of children their first taste of music and performing, and the Singing Spectacular is always a real showstopping event.
“After several years away because of the pandemic, I’m so pleased that the event is back and it was better than ever.
“If you know a young person who would benefit socialising with others who share a love of music, contact the Music Hub – it’s the perfect place for people of all abilities.”
