Get ready for the Best of Royal Greenwich Business Awards 2024
Back for their seventh edition, the awards celebrate the incredible achievements of our brilliant business community over the last year and their important role boosting inclusive economic growth and providing opportunities for local people.
The awards are free to enter and open to anyone who owns or manages a business in Royal Greenwich. For 2024, we have introduced two new categories for individuals, Entrepreneur – Under 30 and Entrepreneur – Over 30, which aim to inspire future business leaders.

- Nominations close on Monday 7 October
- Shortlist announced and public vote opens on Monday 9 December
- Public vote closes Friday 10 January
- Awards ceremony on Friday 7 February at the Intercontinental Hotel, The O2
Meet the Judges
This is an informal networking event for local businesses to meet this year’s judges, gain insights from their expertise, and connect with other businesses in the borough. The event is free, and light refreshments will be provided.
Date and time: Wednesday 25 September, 6:30pm to 8:30pm
Location: Woolwich Town Hall, London SE18 6HQ

- Tuesday 10 September, 10am to 11am – register for the 10 September session

About the Best of Royal Greenwich Business Awards
The Best of Royal Greenwich Business Awards, organised by the council in association with LandsecU+I and supported by the South East London Chamber of Commerce, are an annual opportunity to celebrate and showcase local businesses and their outstanding contributions to the borough.
Local businesses play a vital role in delivering essential goods and services to residents and visitors, providing jobs and sustainable growth. The Best of Royal Greenwich Business Awards are our way of recognising the fantastic work they do, while providing publicity, exposure and networking opportunities to our business community and encouraging residents to shop local.
We invite all shortlisted businesses to join the awards ceremony on 7 February at the Intercontinental London – The O2, where we’ll reveal the 14 category winners and Business of the Year. The Business of the Year will be awarded the £3,000 cheque prize, sponsored by BPTW.
The champagne reception evening is sponsored by Greenwich Hospital and the Mayor’s charity raffle is sponsored by Lovell Homes.
